Larry Simmons stands at the helm of Business & Financial Solutions, Inc. as the President and CEO, bringing a rich background in accounting and finance. An alumnus of Auburn University, he earned his undergraduate degree in accounting with a concentration in forensic accounting. He further honed his expertise with an MBA in Finance, also from Auburn University.
Before establishing Business & Financial Solutions in 2002, Mr. Simmons held a pivotal role at Deloitte and Touché, where he served as the Director of Government Contracting and Nonprofit Services. This position marked the inception of a luminous career dotted with numerous accomplishments.
In his present role at Business & Financial Solutions, Larry Simmons oversees forensic and project and grant accounting for a diverse range of companies and organizations. His nuanced understanding of the financial landscape has also seen him take the stand as an expert witness in fraud and forensic cases, aiding law firms with his valuable testimony.
But it is not just the corporate world that values Mr. Simmons’ expertise; he is a pillar in the community, holding several distinguished positions. In Maryland, he actively contributes as the Chairman of the Board for Women Who Care Ministries Inc. and as the Executive Director for XYZ Services, Inc. His compassionate leadership extends to the Jamisons’ Center of Kindness in Texarkana, Arkansas, where he is a Board Member.
Since his initial appointment by County Executive Isiah Leggett in 2011, Mr. Simmons has served as the General Public Representative on the Montgomery County Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Advisory Council, offering sage advice on drug and alcohol policies to the Montgomery County Council.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Larry Simmons harbors a deep commitment to societal well-being, especially for those less advantaged. His tireless efforts to foster change are reflected in his active role in various non-profit initiatives and communities.

A distinguished alumna of The University of Texas at Dallas, Aajza recently added a Master of Business Administration to her impressive educational portfolio, which boasts a high-achieving tenure during her Bachelor of Business Administration, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
